Using a tricycle/bicycle it was always possible to deliver the children directly to the school

My daughter is autistic and there are difficulties with road safety and stranger awareness

The school does not offer any other safe provisions for dropping off. Kids have to be walked to their classroom areas.

Isn't it rather irresponsible to drop your young children off anywhere other than the school gate!!

plenty of car parks in village

Either car park in the village and walk from there with them.

there are several car parks in great shelfore and other roadside parking not on such a narrow busy bit of road

GT Shelford Memorial Hall car park and then walk

Possibly by the butchers but dependant on how many cars parked. Often very busy.

Typically you park where you can. My child has ASD so closeness is important as road safety awareness is an issue for her.
