Three postcards have emerged giving an insight into the lives of one soldier who was based in Great Shelford during part of World War 1.
The postcards were posted in 1915 from "The Welsh Field Co Royal Engineers, Great Shelford by the serving soldier called Myrddin to his sister in Camarthen, Wales. In one card, he says he is "having a nice time".
One card includes a cross next to the house in London Road where the soldier was billetted.
The postcards include photos of the village during World War 1.
